It has been sunny over here in the UK for the last couple of days. All around, flowers are beginning to bloom. This card reflects this new growth and the colours which have begun to erupt from the dark earth.
How many times have we been told that you can’t appreciate the good times without the bad or the highs without the lows? Well, it’s kind of true. What is Spring without Winter to compare it to?
On occasion, dark cards appear within my readings. It’s not a question of being unlucky: it’s just life. I see clients physically gasp when a difficult image is turned over, hope and colour draining from their face immediately. But in all of my readings, I encourage people to see the blessings or lessons within the darker aspects of their life, as well as in the positive and happy occasions. Sometimes, the more problematic questions get us thinking or force us to make a leap we might not have had the courage to take otherwise.
So, what has this got to do with the beautiful roses in today’s card?
Today’s card suggests we trust that everything really does happen for a reason. Of course, this does not mean we should welcome the sad and difficult things in life with open arms: it simply reminds us that everything which we experience, be it good or bad, aids our growth.
Look at your day through this lens. Can you approach a situation differently? Can you see how a potentially difficult scenario or a taxing experience can actually be a teacher or something which will eventually help you to become stronger?
